SYSTEMIC FAMILY CONSTELLATION

Systemic Organizational and Family Constellation Work (referred to as Constellation Work) was developed by psychotherapist Bert Hellinger based on his 20 year missionary experience with the Zulu in South Africa during his priesthood and his later pursuit of various psychotherapies and many other influences that ultimately created the ability to see the patterns emerge now known as “The Orders of Love” and “Movements of the Soul.”

Constellation Work focuses on 3 main principals in any family system.

1) Belonging (everyone has a place)

2) biological order (hierarchal based on who came first)

3) the balance of give and take  (everyone has a right to live their personal destiny)

When all 3 of these principals are active and stable, love can flow and the ability to live our destiny comes with ease. When there is a disruption happening in the current moment reality, the morphogenetic field of Constellation Work allows us to connect with hidden dynamics creating the interference. These hidden dynamics could stem from personal, transpersonal, and ancestral trauma. When someone is brave enough to look either through their mind’s eye or through the support of a group, there is a grace and an opportunity that opens up for acknowledgement to be had, belonging to be offered, order to return, and love to flow.

Here is a short YouTube video that gives a general overview of Systemic Family Constellation Work: https://youtu.be/jOrBgWdcq3g

In addition, episode 5 of the series Sex, Love & Goop shows a group Constellation for a couple that really gives a great introduction to the work.

Ultimately, the best way to understand Systemic Family Constellation Work is to experience it.
